Events Guide

Events are scheduled activities that one or more team members are attending. They appear in each attendee’s personal calendar feed alongside viewings and other key dates, making them a useful way to coordinate your team’s schedule without needing a separate calendar tool.

Navigate to Operations → Events to see all events in your organization.

The Events List

The events list shows all upcoming and past events across your organization, sorted by start time. Each event shows its title, the number of attendees, its start and end times, and whether it has been cancelled.

Searching: Use the search box to find events by title, start date (in YYYY-MM-DD format), or the name of an attendee.

Creating an Event

Click Create to open the new event form.

Overview

A short title describing the event (e.g. Buyer viewing for VA7X1). Maximum 50 characters.

Attendees

Select one or more team members who will be attending. The event will appear in each attendee’s calendar feed. The maximum number of attendees you can add depends on your organization’s subscription plan.

Schedule

  • Start date — The date and time the event begins.
  • End date — The date and time the event ends. Required for single events, optional for recurring ones.
  • Frequency — Whether this is a one-off event or one that repeats on a schedule:
FrequencyDescription
SingleA one-time event
DailyRepeats every day (or every N days)
WeeklyRepeats every week (or every N weeks)
MonthlyRepeats every month (or every N months)
YearlyRepeats every year (or every N years)

For recurring events, two additional fields appear:

  • Times — How many times the event should repeat in total.
  • Interval — The gap between instances. A value of 0 or 1 means no gap (the event repeats on every occurrence of the chosen frequency). A value of 2 means every other occurrence, and so on.

Additional notes

Optionally add any further information attendees might need — special instructions, location details, things to bring, or follow-up actions. Up to 1,000 characters.

Events are automatically deleted 90 days after their end date.

Editing an Event

Click Edit event from the actions menu to update any of the event’s details — the title, attendees, schedule, or notes. Events can be edited at any time, including after they have started.

Cancelling an Event

If an event is no longer going ahead, open its actions menu and choose Cancel event. The event remains in the system for your records but is marked as cancelled. Once cancelled, the option to cancel it again disappears. Cancelled events cannot be reinstated.

Files

You can attach files to an event. Click View files from the actions menu to open the file manager for that event. See the Files Guide for details on uploading and managing files.

Events in Your Calendar

All events you are attending will appear in your personal calendar feed, alongside your viewings and other key dates. See the Account Setup Guide for instructions on how to subscribe to your calendar.
